The objective of the R31 Standard is to support users, specifiers and installers in the implementation of a remote monitoring system project. It defines, in particular, the technical and organizational requirements that must be met by remote monitoring stations receiving and processing data pertaining to events related to the safety of goods and people (fire, intrusion, technical anomaly), video surveillance or access control. The standard also aims at providing assistance for the selection of the appropriate remote monitoring system - for the expressed needs, as well as good practice for the conclusion of a service contract.
